"Neon", not Scarlet!

In a true, 21st century version of the Scarlet Letter, authorities in Ohio are pushing for registered sex offenders to have neon license plates on their cars. Although, I'm not personally sure that's a fool proof solve, I think it's an interesting start. Better than the castration idea that gets floated around. Or is it?

I guess this "Neon Letter" is semi-beneficial to society...except for those guys who are 19 and piss off a 17 yr-old or her dad.

Could you imagine if they did this in Florida though!? I bet one thing, the Great Wall of China wouldn't be the one man made thing you could see from space.

Odd Ad

I just saw this ad while surfing the net. Is it just me, or is that an odd relationship between the real kangaroos' ears and the logo?

Geico Cavemen

The ridiculous comedy found in the Geico and Comcast style commercials is great. Eventually, it can get old though. Geico is now making a tv show with ABC based on their caveman characters who have gained significant notoriety in the ad world.

It'll certainly lead to greater market share for Geico, which I'm sure is the goal...but it's gonna kill the concept.

Hopefully the copywriters can keep it fresh, but I don't see it happening. I wonder what they'll come up with next.

Rev your engine!

I started watching this, and based on the first 15 seconds of commentary, I thought they'd surely cut to the flag waver to start the NASCAR race.

She could probably replace Brad Daugherty on ESPN with calls like this.
And after listening to her, honestly, I'm hyperventilating a little bit now.

Stress Relief

Getting caught up in the daily routine of work can get tough. This is some pretty good advice for managing your personal bandwidth. A lot of it may be common sense, but it's keeping on par and executing it that's difficult.

Numbers

We hear a lot of stats floating around in the news these days, but having them put into perspective visually is pretty interesting.

Man's Best Friend

This is pretty sweet. No more waiting until your friend gets up, and somewhat close to the fridge, and then asking them to grab you a beer in order to preserve your well-formed spot on the couch.

Oh Glady's!

Many of Ellen's clips are hilarious, but Glady's steals the show in this one.

The Hands of God

It may take a minute to load, so just open all 4 sections in respective Firefox tabs, this is too much comedy to let go.

I don't quite get it because there are so many grown people doing this camp, that it can't be synonymous with Sesame Street; that's only for kids. To put it lightly, I don't know what to do except laugh.

The Hands of God 1 - "Thank you for allowing us to gather at a conference like this, with other whacky, crazy people.."

The Hands of God 2 - "It's entertainment, but at the end...it's like, Oh! There's God..."

The Hands of God 3 - "My father forced me into ventriliquism, and for that I rebelled...into 26 years of drugs and alcohol abuse"

The Hands of God 4 - ""We pray for mad skills"
